DPDP Compliance

Indian Attitude Expressions is committed to respecting your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). This page explains how we comply with India’s first comprehensive data protection law and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data of individuals in India. While Indian Attitude Expressions does not collect or store personal data through user registration or accounts, we may collect limited, non-identifiable data through automated means such as website analytics, cookies, and server logs to improve user experience and content delivery.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your digital personal data we hold about you
  • Right to correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to withdrawal of consent for any processing based on consent
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your data rights have been violated

Note: Since we do not collect or store personal data that can identify you directly (such as name, phone number, or email), most of these rights may not apply directly to you. However, you may still request confirmation of whether any data is being processed.

How We Comply

Indian Attitude Expressions complies with the DPDP by:

  • Not collecting or storing any personally identifiable information (PII) without explicit consent
  • Using only anonymized or aggregated data for analytics purposes
  • Ensuring third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics) comply with DPDP requirements
  • Not selling, sharing, or transferring personal data to any third party

Data We Process

We process the following types of data:

  • IP addresses (anonymized)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Cookies for session and preference management (non-identifying)

This data is not linked to any individual and cannot be used to identify you.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing is based on legitimate interest to provide and improve our content services, as permitted under Section 11 of the DPDP. We do not rely on consent for this processing because the data is non-identifying and essential for site functionality.

How to Exercise Your Rights

If you believe you have personal data processed by us (e.g., if you submitted a comment or contact form), you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us at:

[email protected]

Include your full name, any email or identifier you used, and specify your request (access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent). We will respond within 30 days.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to your requests within 30 days of receipt. If additional time is needed, we will notify you with reasons for the delay.

No Discrimination Policy

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of experience to anyone who exercises their rights under the DPDP.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
